SDAI-AIDD is a small, independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO), based in eastern Canada. We are a group of colleagues, with backgrounds in a wide range of fields, who are interested in working and partnering with similar small organizations, world-wide, over a broad range of activity. Our main concentrations are community empowerment and capacity building, in the following areas: democracy support, education, livelihood, health, human and gender rights, rule of law, and governance.
Our activities are small-scale and focused, in order to remain independent of political and commercial pressures.
SDAI-AIDD chooses specific, sometimes unusual, projects, where it has key expertise, genuine interest, and can make a real difference.
